More than ever people are struggling with their mental health and searching for tools that can enable them to build mental resilience and strength. Mettle Studio partnered with Peak State, a social enterprise, to deliver a global mental fitness movement through communication, education and digital content.
Digital behavior empowerment
We worked with Peak State to deliver an exciting and ambitious roadmap of digital tools and products within a mobile app environment. The content and tools shared by Peak State are specifically designed to empower you to check, challenge and change your behaviours and actions. The design harnesses nudge and habit forming techniques to support the desired beneficial behaviour changes with badges and rewards for streaks and regular utilisation of the techniques.
Building a flexible and scalable solution
As part of the product development we developed a tool engine to allow the creation of new exercises through a custom CMS. This allowed for new tools, challenges and rewards to be added to the app without requiring an app update. Allowing the content to stay fresh and interesting.
The technical requirements for Peak State demanded world-wide efficient and effective delivery of multimedia content to a cross-platform mobile app, to provide personalisation, to be able to browse and search this content effectively, and for the Peak State team to be able to manage this content simply.
Empowering resilience within communities
Alongside product development, we've been collaborating to create the peakstate.org website, develop the future product strategy and evolve their brand and visual communication. The Peak State app has been shared with communities around the world, from first responders in Australia to the citizens of Greece. The accessible tools and techniques are enabling individuals to build mental strength and remain resilient to the challenges life produces.
